Morning Light {CPI November Critique}
Ah! Yet another crush-worthy photo. Well, I like to think so! We were fortunate enough to be invited to go Quail Hunting for a weekend down on a South Carolina Plantation. They pulled out all the stops: beautiful horses, dogs eager to hunt, and who can beat the scenery! It was an amazing experience! This is one of my favorite photos from the day.
I submitted this for the Critique. Overall, it was well received. There is a lens flare in the front, but it seems to add to the overall image. I actually shot this while on horseback, so it was tricky to make sure the image was not only straight, but also not too shaky. My settings were as follows: 1/800 sec. f11. ISO 3200. Focal Length: 55mm
i think it’s beautiful! actually i don’t know which is cooler: the photo or the fact that you got to go quail hunting!
Thanks Kate! It was pretty awesome to go quail hunting, but the only shooting I was doing was with my CAMERA!! Miss you lady!
